words_Nick DePaulaimages_Zac DubasikUPDATE: The All-Star CP3.III is now available at House Of Hoops locations nationwide. For the third straight year, Chris Paul was named to the NBA All-Star team, and unfortunately this is the best we'll see of him in the West's traditional red uniforms. Out with a left knee injury that has sidelined him for several weeks leading up to the big Dallas All-Star Weekend, Chris Paul would have worn these custom Jordan CP3.IIIs had he been fit to play. Pictures will have to do. With a faded gloss synthetic that goes from a deep red to a shade of gold (though I thought Phoenix last year was the year of fades?), the All-Star CP3.III is set off by a fairly dominant all-over star pattern, combining both stitching and lasering tactics on the execution. The midsole features a pretty straightforward splatter print, and of course, the awesomely sharp CP3 logo can be found along the top of the tongue. [Only Antonio McDyess and Penny have cooler logos, in my opinion...] With CP out for today's game, there's no set-in-stone info on a release date for the All-Star CP3.III, but at the very least you can enjoy an up-close look here.
